About Naomi House

Naomi House is a social enterprise in Chiang Mai, Thailand, that creates textile and other products using a variety of fabrics such as Thai ethnic weavings and prints, and locally made cotton. All of the artisans at Naomi House have come from unfortunate circumstances. Some have come from correctional centres, while others were refugees. At Naomi House, each artisan is given the opportunity to learn life skills, as well as empowerment and leadership training, while receiving a fair, livable wage to provide for them and their families!

Our socks are hand-made by real people. For this reason, each pair may include subtle variations in colour and pattern details from those seen in our photos. The overall colour scheme and design will remain very similar. Sometimes one sock may appear slightly larger than the other, that is due to one stretching while being on top in the packaging. Slide them on and the shape will adjust.

This is a beautiful towel, and such a great addition to my kitchen!

Absorbent

I got this towel in a giveaway a few weeks ago. This is a very simple tea towel, and it's a bit on the smaller side, which is why I took one star off. I love the Palace blue colour, which is a nice steel blue. I'm using this tea towel for wiping dishes and surfaces, and it's very absorbent. The social impact of the Naomi house project is amazing!
